I was lucky enough to be chosen by Stephanie and Cory to shoot their wedding a couple of weeks ago! They chose the Inverness Hotel for all of the day's festivities. What a fun place for a wedding! We got some great images, but we had to compete with the annual "Rocky Mountain Showdown" when we shot the bar photo at the end.
All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better day or a more fun group of people to spend it with! We wish Stephanie and Cory all the best!

Kicking off the 2013 Wedding Season
Saint Patrick's day always seems to be a fun time for me. It seems to signal a time when spring is... um springing. Daylight saving time has started; days are getting longer, and summer is just around the corner. Green is everywhere, and if you're not careful, you'll get pinched. Also it gives me an excuse to buy a 12 pack of Guinness and a nice bottle of Jameson! Yum!
It's a time when things are starting to grow and wouldn't you know, it'd be the perfect day to get married! That's what Scott and Joyce thought anyway, and their wedding became my first shoot for 2013!
When they booked me, Scott expressed an interest in my ability to capture snowflakes falling during the ceremony. There would be no snow on this St Paddy's day. The day was sunny, but breezy and cool. Scott and Joyce got married in Lafayette. The Dove House at Lionsgate Event Center was fantastic! I would shoot there again, in a heartbeat.
They were one of the nicest couples, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!
