Denver Senior Photographer | Amber's Prom Photos

Amber is going into her senior year, and she has already been to three proms.

Isn't prom limited to upperclassmen?  I guess when your date is already a junior or senior, you can get away with going to the prom as a freshman or sophomore.  That's what happened with her and Robbie.  Since Robbie graduated last year, Amber is returning the favor... because after all, isn't prom limited to high school students?  :-)

Not fair... I only got to go to junior prom and senior prom...

Oh well.  We took these pics on a cool and somewhat windy day at the park next to the Adams County Fairgrounds, in April.  Now that we have record high heat here in the Denver Area, and wildfires burning out of control in the mountains, I yearn for those cooler days to return...

Pine, Colorado Wedding | Chris and Chrystin

Wedding season for me, started the day before taxes were due this year.  I had the pleasure of shooting the nuptials of Chris and Chrystin on April 14th at the Meadow Creek Lodge in Pine, Colorado.

Being mid April, and in the mountains, you can pretty much expect any kind of weather.  Of course, I didn't plan for winter weather.  It was nice and sunny in Denver.  But the bride and groom kind of had their hearts set on a little snow and that's what they got.  They say "if you don't like the weather in Colorado, just wait 20 minutes", and that's about all we had to wait, as we went from warm and sunny, to cloudy and breezy, to cold and snowy.  During a 2 hour window, we experienced every season.  The funny thing was that the bride was warmer after  it snowed than before.

I had a great time shooting, and I think they did, too!
